Join me in the south of France next September with the remarkable Debbi Simon and Brenda Schweder! We will be guiding students through the flea markets to find treasures and then craft them into some beautiful Bijoux Souvenirs...here is our flier with some details.
Here are some photos from trips past...
I'm sorry it's trite to show the Effel Tower but really it is beautiful!
This is part of the permanent flea market it was down this aisle I found my favorite painting!
and the photo below is of the ceiling in Galleries Lafayette a great department store...the entire bottom floor is shoes!
oh and this is my favorite alley at one of the fleas -- Paul Bert...you have to watch the co-ed bathroom at the end of this alley ...TMI!
After we have searched all over Paris and filled our bags we head south to La Cascade in Durfort. Our Chef Nese will keep us well fed and entertained...I must say her joke about the bulls kept us in stitches all night and I don't think we ever got to the punch line! Just hearing her tell it with her French accent made us giggle with each word...especially when she had to make the horns to help us understand her. The caramelized pear is my favorite dessert she makes and she always makes me a little extra caramel and I'll share!
Your class is a guided experience of using your special “finds” and creating your own Bijoux Souvenirs! We will work out our ideas in the studio, join the local village for it’s amazing farmer’s market and scour the country flea markets for wonderful finds. September 2013 is coming soon, so sign up for this great adventure now…Email Linda@objectsandelements.com with your questions…we have only one spot left!
