Love the new little Light Bulbs we carry in our Objects and Elements store? Here is a quick way to make them into a great pendant or charm...
First use white glue to put a touch of paper on to make it look more interesting--or not! This was a transfer I had in my stash...this would be a great place to personalize with a favorite number or word.
sand the edges when it's dry to make it look worn...
Use a long (this one is three inches) headpin and place a tiny metal washer on the end that is smaller than the head so it won't fall off. The decide the height of your arch and bend over with round nose pliers.
Add another washer for the other side of the bulb and then cut down the wire so that you have just enough room to make a simple loop.
The loop will go around the end near the headpin.
Hammer lightly on a bench block to flatten and work harden the wire.
This looks great tied on a leather cord with a piece of ribbon! Don't forget to leave a comment if you want to be in the drawing for The Overflowing Stash! Happy New Year, looking forward to a great 2012...Linda
