Need a quick gift or pair of earrings to wear to a special event? These filigree earrings are very easy and you can personalize them!
I just took a tiny round bezel, glued it on to a piece of filigree with E6000. If you don't want it to be gold, you can create a heat patina or use gilder's paste.
To make the monogram piece I just printed a nice letter on tan paper and burnt the edges to give it depth.
I just cut to shape and then light and shake it out very quickly so I don't lose too much of my image.
You can add a bit of sparkle at the bottom and create an ear wire or attach to a purchased one. When making a large pair of earrings don't cut your ear wire off too short so they are unbalanced. You can expand your ideas with adding bezels to sheet metal or filigree to create your own look.
